Sheikh Hamad is a distinguished administrator in the sports field, where he began his career as a football player in Al Rayyan club and then became the club’s director of football in the mid-nineties and then a member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Football Association and Chairman of the Professional Union, and later, He became president of the Federation of the Qatar Football Association and also President of the Qatar Stars League. And He had a prominent role in Qatar for hosting the World Cup Football 2022.
